After the first successful and sold-out edition, the time has come for the second edition of Valhalla, on Saturday December 21st. The halls of Amsterdam RAI offer shelter to not only a diversity of electronic music straight from the Amsterdam nightlife, but also to the most bizarre circus acts, attractions and oddities. A tantalizing environment, that challenges and surprises and is all about the experience and adventure…
Various streams of electronic music will be explored during this spectacle. Everything from disco to techhouse, from deephouse to uncut techno and from UK house to eclectic dance music will be featured here. The Orchestra Pitt will cause elevated heart rates to many music lovers with the likes of big names including Eats Everything b2b Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Solomun and Kölsch LIVE. The eclectic Valhalla-goer will be pleasantly surprised in The Palmtree Club with The Opposites, Yellow Claw y The Flexican & MC Sef. The techno lovers can indulge in The Colosseum with Alan Fitzpatrick, Egbert LIVE, Juan Sanchez and Robert Hood presents Floorplan LIVE project.
The Cotton Club is back from the 20’s with a contemporary sound, featuring names including Space Dimension Controller, Makam and Dekmantel Soundsystem. The Rodeo has a special area for the (nu) disco sound with Prins Thomas and The Revenge, amongst others. The real party animals will feel at home at Valhalla’s Variété Side Show with none other than Kees van Hondt, Memphis Maniacs and Vriendje van Ferry on stage. For the deepest Valhalla-goers, Circus is the place to get lost in your dreams to the deepest deephouse by Marek Hemmann and Joris Delacroix, amongst others. Last but not least we present Prestige, with local talents Prunk, Samuel Deep and Anil Aras.
All of these music styles melt into one big circus at Valhalla. Literally, since the programming at Amsterdam RAI will include not only the above-mentioned music, but also various circus acts as they were seen in the 20’s. Every corner of RAI will be filled with the most bizarre extravaganzas, crazy acts and peek shows. The most artistic acrobatics and little dance floors will also be on the program. So don’t bother making a schedule for yourself during Valhalla – go on an adventure and let the absurdity, artistry and bizarre scenes astound you at this festival. An exploration through the nooks and crannies of the conference center transformed to night life bazaar.
Presale starts on Tuesday October 8th at 13:00. Tickets are available through the Valhalla website. Early bird tickets are going for €44.50 and regular tickets will be €49.50.
