Sónar Barcelona 2012. More confirmed artists and deejays

Sónar Barcelona 2012 continues to widen its music proposal this year. We have been advancing new additions in recent weeks, this time we return to announce a list of over 30 artists who will perform in one of the most ambitious festivals of electronic music’s worldwide, and fortunately for us pretty close.

Between the developments announced we can highlight…

The American Flying Lotus, an essential benchmark in modern hip-hop and electronica, head of the Californian label Brainfeeder, is about to publish his new work in Warp. At Sónar we will enjoy him twice: At Sónar by Day as one heading of the Brainfeeder showcase, and as part of the line-up on the SonarDôme stage.

Flying Lotus – Lullaby

Also advertise full line-ups of BBC Radio 1 showcase and SonarDôme stage by Red Bull Music Academy. Where we see attractive new features:

The British Simian Mobile Disco, who will present the new album Unpatterns at Sónar Night, leading the BBC Radio 1 showcase sessions with Annie Mac, Brodinski vs Gesaffelstein duo from France and British beatmakers Jack Beats.

Simian Mobile Disco – Put Your Hands Together

The DJ and producer revelation Nina Kraviz, joins the full line-up Red Bull Music Academy to present her house pearls and her highly praised first self-titled album, which we already talked a couple of months.

Nina Kraviz – Ghetto Kraviz

We also talk about the mysterious surprise Mostly Robot from Native Instruments for Sónar by Day. And now the mystery is solved: The eclectic vocalist and producer Jamie Lidell; the prestigious experimentalist Tim Exile; the skilful beatmaker Jeremy Ellis; the New York dj DJ Shiftee; and the keyboardist and regular member of Mister Jimmy band. These are the 5 members of Mostly Robot. These five gorgeous will synchronize their instruments from their musical intuition, without previous regimen, following the tradition of jam sessions. But this time with art instruments from Native Instruments and accompanied by visual alchemy of prestigious group Pfadfinderei.

But this does not stop there, juicy news as the Canadian duo Trust, the American Star Slinger, the Italian trio of psychedelic disco-house Esperanza, and the new project of the Swiss Faktor and Clinic, called Radiorifle.
