Till Von Sein

Reworks 2

Always deep and forward thinking German imprint Suol presents its 39th release as the second edition of Till von Sein’s Reworks.  For a really special treat, Suol drafts a couple of true legends for the remix duties.  Boo Williams & SJU remix Non Existent Love, that also features super talents Tigerskin, and Lazarus & Meggy. Chez Damier also appears on this packed release with not one, but three mixes of Till von Sein’s Out of Love, featuring Jon Hester.

Hailing from the birthplace of house music, Chicago lead men Boo Williams and SJU deliver their impactful and elegantly produced take on Till’s Non Existent Love feat. Tigerskin, Lazarus & Meggy. Reworking the original into an old school house anthem, echoing chords and pads drive this sunny mix. The acid bassline and soulful vocals make this a tasteful rendition of the original. Providing a vocal mix and an instrumental version, the elegance of both renditions is utterly impressive.

House and techno forefather Chez Damier teams up with Bosco to bring three versions of Till’s Out of Love feat. Jon Hester. The Main Tech Mix is a slow rising tune that is built off of automating strings that drop into rattling percussion and a dripping acid bassline. His Short Dub version is an upscale, sunny, melodic house dynamo. Beautiful piano stabs and rolling bass make this one fit for the dance floors.  Lastly Damier’s Tech Mix is that of unstoppable analog house with pumping 909 sounds remindingone of the early days in Detroit. With a widely appealing release, Suol’s Rework 2 EP is just the type of excellence we hope to see the label continuing to spread into the future and beyond.
