In collaboration with the infamous Tiga, Matthew Dear revisits his alter ego Audion with the duo’s release of Let’s Go Dancing on Tiga’s label Turbo. With remixes from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Breach and Solomun, this release will surely gain support from DJs of all genres. Early players of Let’s Go Dancing include Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Sasha, Maceo Plex and Duke Dumont.
Somewhat similar to Audion’s Mouth to Mouth released in 2006, Let’s Go Dancing controls the dance floor with its throbbing bass, intense crescendos, and commanding vocals from Tiga.
Maya Jane Coles has two remixes in the pack. Maya’s Dancing in the Dark version is a clear stand out on the release. Keeping her signature vibe, Maya adds some acid tinges to an ultimate and consistent groove. Her stripped down In The Deep version will be a available as a Beatport exclusive.
Breach aka Ben Westbeech drops his remix down to the floor mixing elements of minimal techno with jacking house. Solomon goes for the Diynamic sound with sustained synths and captivating melodies. joeFarr delivers a rocking rendition of Let’s Go Dancing with plenty of klang, crunch and bass.
The notorious Tiga is currently working on a new album alongside Matthew Dear as lead producer. The yet to be titled album will also feature collaborations with Soulwax, Jesper Dahlback, Jori Hulkonnen and James Murphy.
