The guys of System of Survival return to Ellen Allien’s Bpitch Control. Alessandro Carpentieri and Pietro De Lisi have long established in Barcelona, and decades releasing under this alias. Now they present five original tracks and two remixes. The theme that names the ep, I mean, has a slow tempo and elegant, but with a very pulsating and danceable rhythm. It is accompanied by some smooth and perfectly integrated vibrant voices.
The second, Family Ring, is a more percussive theme, with a bass line and layers of synthesizers very organic. Meanwhile, Eight, enters the darker territories, with a more robust and rough rhythm. We got to the Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes remix of the track Crash What. They both offer a 4×4 with low pace developed by square wave, while maintaining the essence of the original cut using the voices. I’m not able to and King of the deep are deep tracks perfect for opening a dance-floor, like the Dos remix of the theme Nihil.
