Samuel Dan

Thank you all

Valencia based producer Samuel Dan has led a successful career thus far, touring around Europe and dropping releases on labels like Suara, Viva, and Material to name a few. Samuel’s sound represents one that is fueled by an understanding of the music and his latest release on Takt Records proves it. Always known for an intelligent blend of deep house and techno, his style of sampling is really what sets him apart from the rest. Thank You All brings two original tracks; a dub mix and a driving remix from The Union.

Hypnotic and deep, the title track Thank You All provides a subliminal spoken vocal that flows throughout hard stops and drops. Perfectly technical, the track brings a big bass and swing with an attitude. The Union bring a harder and more peak time flavor to Thank You All, turning it into an all out big room jam. A suspenseful vocal and looping vocal samples create tension and dramatic thrills. The Dub Mix relies less on the vocal to tell the story and allows for interesting melodies and emotions to be created. Still very danceable, the dub is a friendly version for crowds favoring a more underground vibe.

Driving low end and a deep vocal paint a portrait of emotional club music in Nothing’s Left. Samuel’s rock background seems to shine through as bigger chords and key stabs resemble and rougher and raw rock edge. Keeping the arrange tight with rolls and fills, his second original in the bunch proves to be on par with the first in regards to creativity and quality. Ready for the club and almost guaranteeing positive reactions, Thank You All is some of Samuel’s best work to day, pursuing his signature sound but adding new and innovative surprises.
