Salvatore Freda

The chosen fools

Salvatore Freda emerges from the European underground which can strictly be found on vinyl. With a few pieces of work for labels like Liebe*Detail, Freerange and Area Remote, he assures his presence among the most wanted tech house references.

The is no doubt that his post modern techno is conducted in an elegant and aesthetic framework and that has captivated the leaders of sound, such as Alex Niggeman, head of Soulfooled, who will have him for the next release on Soulfooled Detail. This will be a first on this label for the Swiss producer.

The Chosen fools has a solid groove, full of low frequency elements driven through a synthetic lead sound. The added hi & fresh sweeps leave the medium space for a vocal essence who talks about those who ask themselves about every day, every situation and the rules and roles in life.

The musical partners of this EP are Carlito’s Funk, a minimal hypno groove and a great infusion of vintage techno on Innerself, which goes back to the timeless clasic tune French Kiss of Lil Louis.
