Riva Starr

Tech in hand

This is a guy you can’t seem to shake at the moment, whether he’s collaborating with Fatboy Slim and Beardyman on the global smash, Eat sleep rave repeat, or joining forces with everyone’s favourite prince referencing gent Green Velvet on Robots, he’s always sure to knock something out of the park, it just depends which park he’s playing in.

It can be a frustrating thing at times to so multi talented and cover such a broad spectrum of the electronic dance music, with the lines of house and techno becoming even more blurred. Maybe it is Riva Starr‘s time to shine.

Hand in hand will be the first instalment of four, with further packages coming in the shape of Deep in handBass in hand and Indie in hand, an interesting take on the remix package.

So here’s Stef keeping it in the club, with a stellar lineup.

Hand in hand by Technasia gets all groovy with a fat bassline deep tech version, while Music on’s Nathan Barato, get his bounce on with a touch of tech house. These are split with Nobody’s fool, first up is Suara’s own Coyu with his percussive tech monster and SCI + TEC’s Carlo Lio is in a far darker territory with his techno interpretation. Hand in hand to Hands in the air.
