Pezzner & Amina

In full celebration of his 10 years of experience, the label Crosstown Rebels proves once again why it has come to this milestone; with a classy release. It is all on the Seattle producer Pezzner who we’ve already been following since his productions from about 2010, with elegant releases but also valid for the dance-floor. This time he teams up with Amina, who happens to be an Italian-Egyptian singer who also helps out Dave Pezzner in production.

Exit is a deep track, pointing to the darkness, with some serious, raw synths and electronic percussion. Amina’s voice in Bjork-mode illuminates the room with certain mystique. Dave faces the second cut alone, featuring a hypnotic rhythm with organic sounds and abstract melodic notes. For the Exit remix, someone who needs no introduction, Paul Rose aka Scuba, is always providing huge productions since his conversion to deep house. We loved his album and also this re-interpretation of this latest EP on the Lazarus imprint.
