Oleg Poliakov

Fabuleuse nebuleuse

Oleg Poliakov comes to us with a refreshing dose of tough and soothing deep house inspired by the cosmos, with his Fabuleuse Nebuleuse release on Circus Company. Born in Siberia, Oleg Poliakov’s upbringings somewhat match the three ice-cold tracks on this EP. More over, the tastefully added synths and ever changing drum patterns, launch the listener’s mind into the deep, cold recesses of space. Having already released many smashing EPs on labels like Bass Culture, Composite and Eklo Oleg bursts onto the scene with yet another astonishing collection of crisp deep house.

The title track Fabuleuse Nebuleuse is a pleasant mix of old school inspired riffs with soaring ambient textures and synths. The following production Superservant brings us yet another healthy dose of Detroit deep grooves and 808 percs. This time it is accompanied with filtered white noise and alternating delays creating a wide space. Leaving That Place is a more relaxed track that keeps its distinct beat with amplified shakers and nature sounds in the background. A subtle vocal and synth stab makes this track a friendly one to open up eager dance floors. Not left to disappoint, the Paris-based label Circus Company adds yet another exotic act to their big top.
