Subject one

High Strings Records is the new Deep-House/Tech-House sub-label of V.I.M. Records. With an aim to provide high quality and exceptional releases by international artists, the label will focus on deep, gentle and creative sounds for the pleasure of your body, mind and soul.

We start with one of the most promising talents from Greece: Thanasis Voulgaris also known as Naiad. After a period of limited production activity, he comes back to the game with three solid tracks. Subject One is a smooth travel between house and tech really elegant and stylish. It comes with a danceable John Dimas remix, who digs into the old-school rhythms with a little bit of acid. John delivers a hard remix but stress free remix that fits in as a perfect complement to the warm original track.

As a second subject we find Peace and me, a track that is suitable for all kinds of dancefloors. Layers of vocals build on and on until the breakdown, that leads it right back to the rhythm and dance.

For the last track, Indoor Space, Naiad shows us his eclecticism and his skill in fusing different rhythms and samples. He plays with the break beat, low voices and filters, to evolve it into a massive speech which you will obey as if it was your teacher!
