Leix & Hitch

Low cutz

The second release to come out from the Spanish Novotek Raw Series label, comes to us from two rising producers in the electronic scene. Leix & Hitch, who are already releasing their individual tracks on Kiara, Fumakilla, Paulatine, and Anhura, come together for an impressive vinyl release. The Low Cutz EP contains three originals and two remixes, both provided by talented producer Uner. Another winning combination of artists makes Low Cutz a summer EP that will have bodies moving.

The first of the originals XXX is a display of complex rhythmic structures that work seamlessly with the laidback vibe. Uner contributes both a remix and a dub mix of XXX that supply similar sounds to his recent release on Cadenza, complete with dark Ibiza vibes. Mr. Slade is a tougher track with an attitude not only found in the fierce vocal but also by the thick, thumping bass line. Another percussive piece finishes off the EP, entitled, Vox. This final track supplies a deeper hypnotic influence on an already intoxicating selection of music. Truly a vinyl worthy release, Low Cutz is a piece of hot wax fresh for the summer season.
