Germany’s own Kris Menace brings us yet another single from his new album, Electric Horizon on Compuphonic. The single We Are features Kris Menace and The Kiki Twins, with a nice selection of remixes that showcase different sides of this retro sounding production. Having already produced for acclaimed acts like Depeche Mode and Kylie Minogue, Kris’ skills are proved once again with this astonishing single. Electric Glam duo, The Kiki Twins, bring dynamic synth sounds and 80’s inspired nu deep grooves to a single that will attract eager listeners.
The title single, We Are, appears on the release as an original, extended, and edited radio mix. The track features a new school twist on an old school sound, adding elements of nu disco and early house to the mix. It is topped off with soaring disco inspired strings and arpeggiated melodies. Next up, Ray Mang delivers two mixes, both delivering a tasty club friendly groove with an uplifting vocal. To top it off, he’s even added an instrumental mix for not so vocal friendly dance floors.
The next remix comes from Italian collective RESET!, and it packs a punch. A complete electro inspired club smasher that incorporates elements from the original mix, with RESET!’s progressive groove. New to the scene, PWNDTIAC proves his talent with a dreamy nu disco version of the tune, perfect for early beach sets. Lastly, Italo Brutalo closes up the release with a stomping synth-filled finale.
