HNQO

Point of view

The unstoppable Hot Creations imprint is back with another rising star to bring us a stunning two track EP. Brazilian talent HNQO aka Henrique Oliveria discovered house music through his great enthusiasm for hip-hop. It wasn’t before long that he began promoting parties and producing with like-minded colleagues. With large support by the likes of Jamie Jones, Russ Yallop, and the Wildkats, HNQO has also launched his own record label, Playpreview. His Point of View EP on Hot Creations proves without question that his ambitions and talent are ones to watch in the near future.

Title track Point of View kicks off this percussive journey as it beautifully embodies the new generation of house music. Massively deep with a moody groove and infectious vocal, Point of View combines found samples and an unimaginably unique percussive drive to keep listeners moving. Pain n’ Love features performer and writer Effluence, she shines through with her lovely words and entrancing energy. Alongside a low-slung bass laden groove, old school horns, and popping percussive lines, it is one that will surely rock the floors. The new generation of house music is sounding as excellent as we could have imagined, flowing grooves and catchy melodies combined with soul inspired vocal snippets all flowing on top of a 21st century twist.
