Dirty Channels & Bugsy

Alone

Ready to deliver for the summer season, Josh Wink’s Ovum imprint is back with another top shelf release, Dirty Channels & Bugsy’s Alone, featuring the sultry vocals of Amina. Again taking a step back from their typical techno influenced releases, Ovum shines with this housed up refreshing pack. Featuring the original by Dirty Channels & Bugsy, deep house don Dave Pezzner contributes his remix and a refreshing re-dub. Josh Wink steps in with his own re-think dubs of Pezzner’s mix; ones he typically uses in his live sets. Already tested and successful on the dancefloor, Alone is an absolutely stunning pack ready to warm up the summer scene.

Dirty Channels teams up with longtime friend Bugsy for the title track, Alone. It is a deliciously smooth track with a warm bassline, impeccable synths, and the velvety vocals of Amina. Pezzner’s brand of deep influenced grooves translates Alone into an otherworldly plunge of refreshing house that seamlessly flows through a softer bassline. Josh Wink’s Re-Think Dub of Pezzner’s remix is an extended flow of driving energy that lays a melodic synth line on top of the already hypnotic original mix. Wink provides a vocal version and instrumental version of his Re-Think Dubs. Again Pezzner makes his second appearance and closes out the release with his take on Wink’s Re-Think Dub. The second chance to revisit his previous remix work, Pezzner takes the melodic and soulful influence from Wink and adds a thick layer of deep harmonies and warm pads. As an already awe inspiring pack of distinguished producers, Ovum pushes a perfect summer soundtrack, ready to get feet moving.
