B-Quartz

You know

Coming from Barcelona, the label Bluecube is getting bigger with every step they take. They now celebrate the 1st anniversary of has so far been an effort to make really careful selections as to the stuff they want to release. Three releases in a year is the proof that Bluecube prefers quality over quantity. The first and second packs were supported by great djs like Laurent Garnier, Angel Molina, Slam and Joy Kitikonti, and now it is time to move on to the third chapter.

B-Quartz are Jose Lucker and Nuria Ghia, heads and owners of Bluecube Records. After the two solid ep’s Between the Lines, counting on a Dokser remix and Hollow Maze, including remixes from Tadeo and Javier Orduña & Mountage, they are back to show us this You Know ep. The original mix is a deep and serious trip around contemporary electronic music. With its sick percussion and a solid groove, the track will take you till the breakdown with a hypnotic voice. Pay attention to the bass and strong snare!.

For the remixes, the team counts now on the likes of Edgar de Ramon and Alessio Mereu & Matteo Spedicati. Edgar, as well from Barcelona, takes the voices to a different stage by rearranging them into the loop. His re-moved remix will fit perfectly into the tech-house floors around the world.

The pack is made complete by the men of the moment. Alessio Mereu, who had a recent huge release on Poker Flat and is involved with the Cocoon Dots & Pearls compilation, joins Matteo Spedicati who has released great original tracks and remixes on labels such as Wentz Records, The Triangle Records and Cray1 Labworks throughout 2011. Here they deliver an amazing electronic jewel, presenting a new bass that makes the track funnier and more danceable. There is no doubt the new Blue Cube release is here to satisfy all tastes.
