This March we celebrating the new album from the croatian producer Petar Dundov, Ideas From the Pond, that finally will be released on March 26th, on the belgian label Music Man Records. The second Dundov’s album appears three years after his amazing Escapements.
This new work follows again the patterns of techno with epic nature that characterizes the sound of the croatian. With a seductive tracklist consists of unreleased material, except Distant Shores that already appeared as a single in 2010.
In the mid nineties Dundov’s melodic techno began to sound strongly in international scene, collaborating with solid labels like Cocoon or Tomorrow. But although the enormous interest and admiration of his works during the last decade Dundov published exclusively with the legendary belgian label Music Man Records.
Superbly mixing ingredients from different styles like techno, Detroit techno, IDM or ambient Ideas From the Pond is a masterful album of hypnotic progressions, melodies and slow-burning complex. A job melodic, emotional and evocative, and a generally contemplative mood that only a master of first division as Dundov could create.
