James Holden and Simian Mobile Disco added to Sónar programming

Sónar completes its line-up adding several top international artists: popular, young German pianist Nils Frahm; British duo Simian Mobile Disco presenting their new project Whorl at SonarHall; the DJ partnership between Daphni (Dan Snaith, de Caribou) and James Holden at Sónar by Night; Nordic pop’s new star, ; a set from broadcaster and BBC Radio 1 dj Monki; and burgeoning beat-makers Ryan Hemsworth and Stwo.

Sónar works for the first time with the Mercat de les Flors of Barcelona, a reference centre for the performing arts in the city, with a dance piece by Sonia Gomez and Lucy Suggate from the music of The Inheritors, James Holden’s last album, who will be performing live alongside them on stage.
