For the last nineteen years I Love Techno has been one of Europe’s biggest & most pioneering indoor events and attracts 35.000 visitors from around the world every year. With more than a million fans on Facebook, the event is by far one of the most popular of it size.

I Love Techno stays true to its roots with top acts such as Laurent Garnier, Len Faki and Booka Shade but keeps its finger firmly on the pulse booking names like Disclosure, Duke Dumont and Klangkarussell, who are at the forefront of a new wave of house producers whilst reflecting the popularity of the new Trap genre by booking acts like Baauer, RL Grime and Flosstradamus.

One of the cornerstones of I Love Techno is the discovery and support of new talent. Boys Noize, for example, made his debut on Belgian soil at the 2006 festival, Justice performed in 2008 whilst last year Major Lazer was the revelation of the event. Hotly tipped this year are performances by Cashmere Cat, Cyril Hahn, Monsta, Breach and Dusky.

Elsewhere lots of artists performing will bring their new material to the festival – The Bloody Beetroots, Klangkarussell, Booka Shade, Marcel Dettmann and Jackson and his Computer Band all have new albums whilst Gesaffelstein is presenting his long awaited debut album at I Love Techno, in an exclusive live show.

French techno star Gesaffelstein is also making the official I Love Techno mix album which sees him following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Erol Alkan, Dave Clarke, Steve Aoki and Crookers. The I Love Techno album is available in all major record and digital download stores from 7th October. The digital version is available a week earlier exclusively for ticket buyers.

Room by room

This year the Blue Room will be transformed into a Haunted House with Australian duo Knife Party (featuring members of Pendulum) not only programming but also advising on decor and production. Joining them will be Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, Monsta, Jordy Dazz and more to make this room a force to be reckoned with.

The Yellow Room will be hosted by the leading Belgian band Goose as Goose Invades…  featuring Bloody Beetroots, Annie Mac, Gesaffelstein, DJ Falcon, Miss Kittin, Compact Disk Dummies and, of course, Goose, delivering the harder end of house, techno and electro.

This year the XL Room guarantees extra space for the audience to enjoy the full experience whilst The Main Hall, which connects all of the halls together, has also been set up with the visitor in mind providing lots of attractions to enjoy alongside the music.
