On Sunday, July 21st the Hyte Park Festival will celebrate the launch of it’s first event with some of the most popular players in the current Techno underground. Governors Island in the Upper New York Bay will tremble with the beats of Chris Liebing, Boris, DVS1, Guti, Robert Dietz, Hector, Monoloc and Tommy Four Seven. Each single one of these internationally acclaimed artists represents a characteristic blend of electronic music and it is not only the consistent quality of their work, but also the musical diversity of this massive lineup which makes this event so special.
If you wonder what HYTE actually stands for, you will eventually have to experience this on your own, as the literal meaning can only give a hint to what you are going to encounter during this electrifying happening. The HYTE Park Festival on Governors Island, as the name and the venue already suggest, will offer you an entire day of craziness and mindbending quality sounds in one of the most breathtaking locations you can possibly imagine. From the 2pm start through to the end, you are bound to loose yourself in the hypnotic rhythm of the bass drum. The 5 minute boat ride from Downtown NYC to the island is the perfect start to the integral vibe.
