Earlier this month we told you about the third edition of the Berlin Music Week, and now we’re back with –fantastic– results. From 5 to 9 September attendees (and envied) enjoyed a suggestive and attractive range of showcases, concerts, parties, conferences, panels, seminars and networking opportunities. In addition to the global feeling of success, the figures reflect the success of this edition.
2.000 delegates at Word on Sound initiative, a new business and conference platform, offering an in-depth program of live events, film, art, fashion, academics, community, political action, and digital and analog commerce. And 20.000 visitors taking part in the Berlin Music Week Club Program.
18,000 guests attending the Berlin Music Week Club Night. On each night local and international promoters, labels, agencies, organisers and media partners presented artists from a wide range of genres and nationalities.
And more than 20,000 people at the Berlin Festival, where they enjoyed the performances of The Killers, Sigur Rós, Bonaparte, Friendly Fires, Litle Dragon, Paul Kalkbrenner, Franz Ferdinand, Mostly Robot, Tocotronic or Kraftklub.
We want to remember Paul Kalkbrenner‘s live at Berlin Festival, where he also presented his new track called Unknown ID.

The third edition of Berlin Music Week celebrated its triumphant conclusion in the Admiralspalast on Sunday night, where the band Tonbandgerät was presented with the New Music Award; and at the Auf den Dächer (On the Rooftops) Festival, where Two Door Cinema Club, Mia., Max Herre, Cro and many others joined forces for the finale.
