The label Mobilee Records is one of those labels that we always look forward to their new releases. Founded in 2005 by Anja Schneider and Ralf Kollmann, it always manages us to keep an ear to the groove, with a hybrid between house and techno valid for different types of dance-floors. Rooted in the classic structures of house and techno, the label has harnessed the triple threat approach: its records reference vintage dance-floor minimalism, engaging with like-minded contemporaries, and suggest surprising new directions for familiar forms.
They have been, for almost ten years, at the top of European labels, starting with vinyl and have been adapting to technological and cultural changes going beyond the traditional concept of a record label.
Mobilee is currently focused on their roster and in the projection of the artists included in it. These are Sebo K, Pan-Pot, Miss Jools, GummiHz, Dan Curtin, Marcin Czubala, Hector, Ralf Kollmann and live acts like Exercise One, And.id and Russ Gabriel.
In this Focus On series we are going to enjoy these four artists from Mobilee Records:
- Ralf Kollmann
- Dan Curtin
