Debut album from Berliner producer and deejay Philip Bader

In this occasion we present the first album from the Berliner producer and Dj Philip Bader, entitled Wishful Thinking, with Highgrade Records.

Since his debut in 1999 in the biggest techno club of his city, the legendary Tresor, Bader has become one of the veterans of the Berlin techno scene. Since then, Bader has been producing melodic tech house records since 2005, and has appeared on labels like Stil vor Talent and Saved Records.

Also, alongside with German producers Todd Bodine, Tom Clark, Markus Homm y Daniel Dreier, Bader is part of the five-piece live performance collective Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra, which released their debut album, Multilayer, in 2010.

Wishful Thinking comes with 12 tracks faithfuls of Bader sound, melodic tech-house covering many styles, from jazz to house, in which besides, for this occasion, has had the collaboration of two female vocalists: Ja Hier and jazz singer Anna Luca that bring the downtempo touch to the project.

The diversity of the style of tracks never makes you tired of his music, but eager to hear the next track, as you never know what will surprise you next. Wonderful mixture of house, jazzy grooves and a bit of pop in a harmonious whole.

Wishful Thinking will be released on 16 April.

In Spain we have two dates:

  •      April 20 at Highgrade Show, Ibiza.
  •      July 7 Fresh Weekend Festival, A Coruña.
